人與神的關係

人是萬物之靈，主要在於我們會「敬天畏神」、「一心造萬法」。觀察其他的動物，它們除了吃喝拉撒睡之外，就是發呆；甚至於遇到生命攸關的事，也沒有因應的方法。

去年因疫情的緣故，宅在家中的時間變多了，發現滿坑滿谷的書—居然1966年在國民市場大陸書生送的《戰國策》都有，驀地想到應該好好清理，花了幾個月清出去近萬本的書—包括許多名人的贈書；不過，特地留了幾個版本的《聖經》。

 

《聖經》包含舊約和新約，舊約〈創世記〉開宗明義即說：「起初 神創造天地。地是空虛混沌，淵面黑暗；神的靈運行在水面上。」(創1:1) 關鍵在於，有「神」有「靈」，有光分晝夜，有水滋生萬物。接著，「神就照著自己的形像造人，乃是照著他的形像造男造女。」(創1:27) 還有「神用地上的塵土造人，將生氣吹在他的鼻孔裡，他就成了有靈的活人，名叫亞當。」(創2:7) 可見人與神的關係，乃是受造者與造物主的關係；造物主—神將那人安置在伊甸園，使他修理看守。(創2:15) 所以，凡人在順境總會感謝神的恩賜，在逆境也會祈求神的幫助。

《聖經》舊約有個女人名叫哈拿(Hannah)，因為沒有生育而遭受其姐妹毘尼拿(Peninnah)排擠；哈拿心甚愁苦就在神面前傾心吐意，(撒上1:16) 結果神回應了哈拿的祈求，使她懷孕而生下一子撒母耳(Samuel)；哈拿對神說：「我祈求為要得這孩子，神已將我所求的賜給我了；所以，我將這孩子歸與神，使他終身歸與神。」(撒上1:27-28) 後來，撒母耳成為神親自揀選之忠心的祭司(A Faithful Priest)；撒母耳聽神的指示，用角裡的膏油，膏抹了大衛—成為後來的以色列王。

《聖經》新約從〈馬太福音〉揭開序幕，開宗明義即說明「耶穌的家譜」(The Genealogy of Jesus) 大衛王傳了十四代，又十四代，共二十八代，耶穌基督降生—主要的目的在於「他要將自己的老百姓從罪惡裡救出來。」(太1:21) 凡人容易受到影響而陷於罪中，卻不自知；神藉由撒母耳之手膏立大衛作以色列王，大衛王奪其部下烏利亞之妻拔示巴，害死烏利亞，(撒下11:15) 大衛的兒子們也上樑不正下樑歪。只是大衛每次做錯事之後，總是低頭向神懺悔，尋求神的原諒。大衛臨終之前，囑咐後來繼位的兒子所羅門說：「我現在要走世人必走的路，所以你當剛強壯膽，作大丈夫，遵守耶和華你神所吩咐的---」(王上2:2-3) 希望以色列國堅固，可惜，後人仍是罪行重重，以致於王國被滅，被擄至巴比倫，甚至於流離失所。

1979年在紐約和普瑞斯牧師讀經之前，他總會先禱告道：「Everybody has sinned. (人都有罪) Let’s get rid of the evil. (擺脫邪惡) Keep away from the devil. (遠離魔鬼)」才翻開《聖經》來讀，他說：「Clean inside before cry outside. (內心清潔比裝模作樣的外在重要)」那時，我都稱呼他為「Priest」(祭司)，普瑞斯牧師也煞有其事地和我談起祭司的事。

他引用新約〈希伯來書〉第9章論證新舊約對於「祭司」的觀點，說明：「屬世界帳幕中的敬拜」(Worship in the Earthly Tabernacle)乃是舊約(Old Testament)中的「大祭司」(High Priest)的例行敬拜(Regular Worship)—大祭司每年一次，宰殺牛羊，帶著它們的血，獨自進入「至聖所」(The Most Holy Place)，為自己和百姓的罪獻祭。不過，「那頭一層帳幕作現今的一個表樣，所獻的禮物和祭物，就著良心說，都不能叫禮拜的人得以完全。(This is an illustration for the present time, indicating that the gifts and sacrifices being offered were not able to clear the conscience of the worshiper.)」(來9:9) 因此，神藉由耶穌降生到世間，把自己一次獻上為祭，「But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation.(但現在基督已經來到，作了將來美事的『大祭司』，經過那更大更全備的帳幕，不是人手所造、也不是屬乎這世界的。)」(來9:11) 「He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining^[b] eternal redemption.(並且不用山羊和牛犢的血，乃用自己的血，只一次進入聖所，成了永遠贖罪的事。)」(來9:12)

普瑞斯牧師藉著〈希伯來書〉第9章說明，舊約的大祭司每年反覆地進入至聖所獻祭，並無功效；所以，神就讓耶穌以凡人(Ordinary People)的形像來到世間，上到「十字架」—就是至聖所，用他自己的血獻上為祭，一次性地贖了人們的罪(sins)。因此，我們只要相信耶穌基督，就能得到救贖，不用付「贖金」(atonement)—像以前必須購買「贖罪券」(indulgence)以達到救贖的願望。

簡言之，耶穌在十字架上就已經使人們獲得救贖，只要相信就可以了。

當然，事實上沒有這麼簡單；不過，只要有神在我們心中，就會如俗話所言：「主心定。」做事情總會有天上的神看顧，會謹慎自守，懂得警醒禱告，比較能夠走在正確的道路上，得著真理和豐盛的生命。
